	Risk Assessments We carry out and document all required risk assessments for works by our core staff and sub-contractors.
	Method Statement We produce and provide you with method statements for works carried out by our core staff and sub-contractors. Our methods explain how the work will be carried out following a step by step process.
	Health and Safety We carry out the most up to date Health and Safety training requirements and with all our core staff and demand the same standards from our sub-contractors.
	Communication We maintain a strong dialogue with all those who are responsible for the project.
	Asbestos Some schools , especially older ones, still contain asbestos. Prior to any works we view the ATLAS system and have our specialist consultants carry out the required reports prior to building works; as requested by the Local Authority . Where removal is required we appoint a registered HSE approved Removal Sub-Contractor.
	CDM—coordination Our CDM Coordinator will advise you and guide you through the ‘duty-holders’ responsibilities.

	CRB Check All of our core staff and main sub-contractors are Warwickshire CRB checked. Our core staff all carry identity cards with photos and details. They are experienced and sensitive towards the specific needs of the educational environments in which they work.
	Planning, Building Regulations and Approvals We can submit, on your behalf, for all appropriate Local Authority and Statutory Approvals including consultation with relevant departments within Warwickshire County Council.
	Identification All GCG employee’s and sub contractors wear GCG Identity badges to show they are employed by the Company.
	Accreditation GCG is registered with Constructionline, UK register of Pre-Qualified Construction Services, as advised by Warwickshire County Council Our Managing Director is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building. GCG is registered with the Chamber of Commerce for Warwickshire and Coventry. GCG is registered with the CITB Construction Industry Training Board.
	Insurance GCG Construction are insured to £5,000,000 through which is the amount required to undertake works in schools.
	Claim of Accident, HSE Notices, etc. GCG have never received any Prohibition or Improvement Notice from the HSE nor any reportable accidents.
